Former Rangers and Hearts midfielder Ian Black has been released by Blackpool, despite helping the Seasiders secure a return to English League One.
The 32-year-old joined the Bloomfield Road outfit in February from Shrewsbury and made a total of 13 appearances for Gary Bowyer’s side, including a substitute outing in the League Two play-off final victory over Exeter City at Wembley.
Bowyer has decided to activate clauses to extend the contracts of former Aberdeen left-back Clark Robertson and one-time Dundee winger Jim McAlister.
