Hibs have played ten cup ties against top-flight opposition since being in the Championship – and they have won EIGHT of them.
The Leith club go into Saturday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen as underdogs but the holders have showed no respect for league status in the past three seasons.
One of those victories was against the Dons when whey overcame Derek McInnes’ side 2-0 in a League Cup clash in September 2015.
They have also seen off Ross County, Dundee United (twice), St Johnstone, Hearts (twice), and Inverness in domestic competitions as a second tier club.
Hibs were beaten by Dundee United in the League Cup on penalties in 2014, and lost to Ross County in final of the same competition in March 2016.
