Hearts head coach Ian Cathro admits he is excited about the potential of teenage striker Rory Currie.
The 19-year-old made his debut under Cathro’s predecessor Robbie Neilson as a substitute in last November’s convincing victory over Motherwell but has gone on to make six more first team appearances since the dugout reshuffle.
Former Valencia and Newcastle United assistant manager Cathro even handed the marksman a full debut in the recent loss at Patrick Thistle.
Cathro said: “Rory is one of the guys who I am particularly pleased with in terms of how he has grown and how he is becoming more comfortable.
“I think his development should remain calm and gradual but it’s very interesting for us.”
