Pooping cat prompts hilarious passive-aggressive note to owner
AN incontinent feline has sparked a hilarious cat fight amongst residents of a Glasgow block of flats.
An anonymous note from one occupant complains the pet keeps defecating in shared areas and the clean-up cost has been passed on to all residents.
The passive-aggressive post adds that the cat ran into their flat recently even though: “I’m getting enough pussy already.”
Demanding that the cat be kept indoors or outdoors all the time, the writer concludes that a survey of residents proves they would rather spend their spare cash in the pub rather than cleaning up “cat sh**e”.
It is not known where or when the post was put up but a picture of the letter on social media has divided opinion.
The note, complete with a picture of Top Cat from the children’s cartoon series, is headed: “A Polite Request.”
“Could the residents with the cat in flat 1/1 keep inside their flat or outside the building at all times?” asks the writer.
“You will remember that the owners have already been charged money in their factoring bill last year to clean up its mess due to it s******g all over the floor.
“I have conducted a survey and a whopping 96% of the residents in this building would rather spend their spare cash in the pub than on cleaning your cat’s sh**e up after it.
“I am confident you will agree that’s a fairly substantial majority.
“The other day, it ran into my flat too and quite frankly, I’m getting enough pussy already.”
Another resident has underlined in biro the last sentence and added: “LOL you clearly aren’t”.
The picture was uploaded to social media yesterday (thu) by a friend of one of the residents of the flat. The poster declined to comment except to confirm that the picture had been taken in Glasgow.
One social media user, Glitterland, wrote: “This is f*****g hilarious.”
Yellowbenzene agreed with the writer, saying: “Fair enough, if your cat is s******g in the close then you should clean it up.”
But others felt the letter writer had gone too far. xh0dx wrote: “Surprised no one posted the s**t through the letterbox.”
RoboticDance commented: “Cringe at the puisy part.”
And Blistasonmefingas replied: “Yeah it was all going so well until then.”
kidfockr contributed: “If no pussy is enough pussy, then one pussy is too much. Whoever vandalised his wee notice should feel bad.”
shuzbee asked possibly the best question of all: “Does no one on reddit actually speak to their neighbours in the flesh?”
