Amy MacDonald fan praised by star for spotting secret message etched on vinyl

AN EAGLE-EYED fan has been praised by Amy MacDonald for being the first to spot a secret message etched on to the vinyl version of her latest album.
Posting a photo on social media, Mike Norris spied the secret messages engraved on either side of MacDonald’s newly released Under Stars vinyl album.

The subtle note reads on one side “The sky above” and on the other  “The Earth below”.
The phrases are lyrics from one of the songs on the album, From The Ashes.
Sending the picture to Macdonald over Twitter she replied that Mike was the first
fan to notice.
Mike sent the tweet to the Scottish pop-star saying: “Just spotted the messages etched into both sides of the ‘Under Stars’ vinyl. Very cool”
The Scottish singer-song writer replied
The 29-year-old singer-songwrtier replied: “I think you may be the first to notice.
Gold star and 100 points” followed by a star emoji.
The small markings etched onto the vinyl appear almost invisible at first glance.
Originally from Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, MacDonald has sold over 9
million records worldwide and released her debut album This Is the Life in 2007.
Her latest and fourth album was released last week and went to number 16 in the
iTunes album chart.
