HEARTS captain Perry Kitchen and midfielder Malaury Martin are the latest Hearts stars to say sorry for their miserable Edinburgh derby collapse against Hibs.
Former Monaco midfielder Martin and USA cap Kitchen were both replaced at half-time following ineffectual showings in the opening 45.
Their displays were symbolic of the Jambos’ woes as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat to crash out of the Scottish Cup.
And two further players have now joined them.
Martin tweeted: “I know apologizing will not change the result, feeling devastated after [Wednesday’s] game. Nothing went as planned. Sorry for all the fans.”
Kitchen followed: “I have no words. Yesterday’s match has been a tough pill to swallow. The fans & club deserve better & I’m sorry we didn’t get the job done.”
