Pogon Szczecin manager Kazimierz Moskal insists it took on loan Celtic striker Nadir Ciftci only 20 minutes to convince him he can make an impact in Poland.
The Turk climbed off the bench to make his debut in Sunday’s 1-1 draw away to Cracovia Krakow just three days after joining from the Hoops on a deal until the end of the season.
Moskal was delighted with the former Dundee United forward’s cameo appearance and reckons Ciftic will become a key player in Pogon’s bid to push for a Europa League place.
“He has great skill and it’s good we have him for the rest of the season.
“He can play in many positions in attack; he can play as a striker or a winger. There are various options we can use in a game if necessary.”
