FOOTBALL fans are speculating as to whether Still Game’s Jack and Victor were at Ibrox on Sunday, after a lookalike duo were spotted in the crowd.
A snapchat photo taken by a fan during Rangers’ 2-1 victory over Greenock Morton shows the backs of two elderly men wearing the flatcap and trilby associated with the two TV stars.
The picture, taken in the Copland Stand, and captioned “Jack and Victor”, has been liked almost 900 times after being shared on the Scottish Football Away Fans Facebook page.
The man on the left of the picture is wearing a bunnet, with white hair sticking out, similar to Jack Jarvis.
Whilst the man on the right is taller, and is wearing a grey trilby similar to Victor McDade’s.
Fans of the Scots sitcom have been quick to make jokes about the picture, many at Rangers’ expense. Another pointed out the pair are more likely to have been at Firhill.
Ryan Main wrote: “They’re at the right place for comedy!”
Proinsias Ó Flannagáin quipped: “Comedy night at Ibrox seven nights a week 52 weeks of the year the joke that keeps on going”.
Derek Stewart joked: “Thought they played.”
But some Facebook users were sceptical as to whether the duo could be Jack and Victor, given Jack supports Partick Thistle.
Alex Hush wrote: “Everyone knows this is s**** as they support Partick.”
George Ward added: “Aren’t Jack and Victor Partick Thistle fans.”
Rangers eventually won the game 2-1, to advance to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.
