A HOTEL chain has been ridiculed on social media after offering a customer tea and coffee as an alternative to condoms in his room.
Billy McCondichie from Glasgow tweeted Premier Inn on Saturday to ask: “Do you provide condoms in your hotel rooms?”
The chain – which offers a “good night gurantee” on their website – replied: “Afraid not Billy!
“We do have tea and coffee though, Kristy.”
Billy was apparently unimpressed by Premier Inn’s idea of safe sex.
He wrote: “Yeah, hold on, I’ll just wrap my c*** in a hot, roasting mug of coffee. Great idea.”
A screenshot of the exchange, posted on Billy’s Twitter account, has been liked 60,000 times and retweeted 18,000 times.
Social media users have found the exchange hilarious.
Connor Lansdale wrote: “What a reply! Hot roasting coffee.”
Dino Fancellu joked: “Condoms would make a great idea. Instead of saying ‘no, go f*** some coffee’, they should listen to customers.”
Billy Forbes quipped: “Billy should try teabagging.”

Premier Inn’s website has a page entitled: “Good Night Gurantee” which states: “At Premier Inn we’ve thought of everything you need to have a great night’s sleep.
“From our super-comfy Hypnos beds, to a choice of firm or soft pillows, we’re always on the lookout for ways to make bedtime better.”
