HEARTS misfit Conor Sammon has rejoined former club Kilmarnock on loan for the rest of the season.
The towering Irishman only arrived at Tynecastle last summer, penning a three year contract after being released by English Championship outfit Derby.
However, he has struggled for form in Gorgie and, having scored just two goals in 26 outings this term, found himself the target of the Jambos boo-boys.
Sammon was recently linked with a switch to Dundee United, but was reluctant to drop down a division.
Instead, he has returned to Rugby Park, where he scored 25 goals between 2008 and 2011 to truly announce himself in British football. He subsequently went on to turn out for Wigan, Ipswich, Rotherham and Sheffield United.
