Celtic midfielder Scott Allan is set for another loan move after failing to make an impact Rotherham.
Millers caretaker manager Paul Warne admits the 25-year-old’s agent is actively trying to find the 25-year-old a new club.
Allan, who joined on a season-long loan last summer, has not played for the English Championship basement side since the October 15 defeat to Norwich City and has only made five starts in a total of nine appearances.
Warne, speaking to the Sheffield Star, said: “The situation is that his agent is trying to get him a club.
“I don’t think Celtic are pulling him back to be part of their plans, so it’s more about his agent and himself trying to get somewhere else to play.
“Funnily enough, I had a text from a manager about him on Thursday. I presume he will get himself fixed up soon.”
The playmaker was reunited with Alan Stubbs, who was sacked last October, at the New York stadium but Allan’s work-rate was criticised by his former Hibs manager in September.
Stubbs said: “The one thing I expect is 100 per cent commitment. I want to see that players care. I want to see character.”
