Hearts winger Jamie Walker has had his yellow card for simulation against Rangers removed from his record following an appeal.
The 23-year-old was cautioned by referee John Beaton in the first half of last weekend’s 2-0 loss at Rangers after falling to the ground under a challenge from former team-mate Jason Holt.
Television footage showed that Holt appeared to make contact with the playmaker and Hearts confirmed yesterday that the Scottish FA have upheld their appeal.
A Hearts statement read: “Jamie Walker has had his yellow card, issued against Rangers on Saturday, rescinded.
“The winger was booked for simulation by referee John Beaton during a first-half incident at Ibrox.
“Hearts appealed the decision at Hampden and the claim was upheld, meaning the caution has been removed from Jamie’s record.”
