Scottish island home lets you watch more wildlife than an Attenborough episode

A WILDLIFE fanatic’s dream house is on the market for just over £400,000 – promising more animal sightings from the front room than a David Attenborough episode.

The stunning property on the island of Mull promises views of at least 20 rarely-seen species – including golden eagles and basking sharks – without leaving your armchair.

The sellers say the current residents have also spotted dolphins and porpoises, pine martens, and otters among many other creatures without ever having to go outside.

As well as the main, two-bedroom property, there are two adjoining cottages to rent out to nature-loving holidaymakers.

Their brochure states: “The three cottages afford a comfortable owner’s residence and two holiday cottages generating a regular income.

“From the windows of this property our clients frequently see white-tailed and golden eagles, hen harriers, great northern and red throated divers, gannets, terns and nesting birds including oyster catchers, sandpipers and wagtails.

“Red deer, otters and pine martens are regular visitors as are common and grey seals.”

It adds: “In the summer basking sharks, dolphins and porpoise can also be seen around the coastline. Mull has the largest breeding population of white-tailed (sea) eagles in the UK and the elusive corncrake is a regular target species for ‘twitchers’ from all over the country.

“Guests staying at Corry Meadows share use of the fantastic purpose built, elevated observatory which has uninterrupted views of the bay.
