Comedian defeats “spambot” using Naked Gun jokes

COMEDIAN Jo Heenan hilariously confused a fake Facebook account by replying with quotes from The Naked Gun.

Joe took on the “spambot” called Amelia with wisecracks from the film series, which starred Leslie Nielsen as hapless police officer Frank Drebin.

Asked “are you married or single?” Heenan replied: “It’s the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Day.”

The bot then asked: “What do you do in life?” Heenan replied: “How about dinner? I know this little, out of the way place that serves great Viking food.”

Joe took on the "spambot" called Amelia with wisecracks from the film series, which starred Leslie Nielsen as hapless police officer Frank Drebin. Asked "are you married or single?" Heenan replied: "It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day." The bot then asked: "What do you do in life?" Heenan replied: "How about dinner? I know this little, out of the way place that serves great Viking food."

“Amelia” tried another tack, asking: “OK what do you look for on Facebook?”

Heenan states: “Nice beaver”, getting the response: “I want to make new friends and see me later.”

Social media users reacted with delight after Heenan shared images of the exchange.

One Facebook user wrote: “Comedy gold. You should do this professionally.”

Another pointed out a Drebin line Heenan had overlooked, stating: “You missed ‘I would have come earlier, but your husband wasn’t dead then.'”

But Heenan explained: “That’s from the TV series.”

A Twitter user added: “”Nice beaver” “well thanks I just got it stuffed this morning” best chat up line ever.”

Heenan has become notorious over the past year for posting hilarious content featuring his two children.

In March, he received nationwide coverage after sharing images of children dressed up as pages from the Argos catalogue for World Book Day.

He tweeted an image of his two children, one holding a toaster and one a hairdryer, and wrote: “Forgot they had to be in costume, so they’re going to school as pages 89 and 165 of the Argos catalogue.”

He also gained public attention in April after claiming he had played an April Fool’s joke on kids, by telling them he had given them an ipad, when he had in fact, just given them an empty box.
