SCOTLAND have plummeted to their lowest place in the FIFA rankings in more than three years following their disastrous start to World Cup qualification.
Gordon Strachan’s side have dropped ten places to number 67 in the latest standings following their 3-0 defeat against England at Wembley, below the likes of Benin, Uzbekistan and Panama.
It is Scotland’s worst placing since the dark days of June 2013, when Strachan was in the early stages of rebuilding from the ill-fated reign of Craig Levein.
