Norwich City manager Alex Neil insists he has no problem facing irate supporters that want him sacked following a poor run of results.
The Canaries have fallen 13 points behind English Championship leaders Newcastle following a barren four-game winless run, their latest set-back coming at Queens Park Rangers.
The former Hamilton manager led City to the Premier League through the play-offs in 2015 and after being relegated last summer, is still confident he can mastermind a promotion charge this term.
Neil will face supporters at the club’s Annual General Meeting this week and admits he has no qualms about being grilled by fans.
He said: “I’m fine with that, I’m an open and honest person.
“I’m doing my very best for the team, everybody is working extremely hard to turn results around so I’ll answer the questions that come my way.
“The players that we’ve got are the players that we’ve got. They’ve shown that they’ve won seven games out of eight.
“We’re just going through a bit of a slump at the moment and bad decisions are going against us but we’ve got to be strong enough to come out of the other side of that.
“I’m more than confident we will.”
