Barcelona have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of next week’s Champions League trip to Celtic.
Defenders Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Jeremy Mathieu have all returned to first team training with Luis Enrique’s side and are in contention for tomorrow’s La Liga clash with Malaga at the Nou Camp.
Spain internationalist Pique has been sidelined since injuring his ankle in a challenge from David Silva in their Group C 4-0 victory over Manchester City on October 19.
Left wing-back Alba has also not featured since that game after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem just ten minutes into that clash, while Frenchman Mathieu hurt his calf in a Catalan Super Cup loss to Espanyol at the end of last month.
But all three are back available for selection and could feature at Parkhead on Wednesday in the penultimate group match.
Celtic, who were thrashed 7-0 in the Nou Camp in September, need to win one of their last two games against Barcelona and Manchester City and hope that Borussia Monchengladbach drop points to have any chance of continuing their European campaign in the Europa League.
