JORDAN McMILLAN is free to resume his football career following almost two years out of the game after his drugs ban today expired.
McMillan, then a Partick Thistle player, was banned from all sports for two years by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) after traces of cocaine were found in a sample following Thistle’s match at Celtic in December 2014
He was subsequently released by the Firhill outfit two months later.
However, it was announced in August that the National Anti-Doping Panel had reduced his punishment by a month, leaving him suspended until November 17.
The 28-year-old, formerly captain of Dunfermline Athletic, has recently been training with the Pars in a bid to regain his fitness.
East End Park boss Allan Johnston has previously stated: “Jordan knows a lot of the boys from being here before. He’s in training just now but that’s as far as it goes.”
