LIVINGSTON have completed a major coup by snapping up Raffaele De Vita for a second stint at Almondvale.
The 29-year-old Italian was a free agent after being released by Ross County in June, despite having a year left on his contract.
Prior to making the switch to Dingwall last summer, De Vita turned out for Cheltenham Town, Bradford City and Swindon.
However, the silky striker has made the decision to drop down to League 1 to re-sign for Livi, the club where he made his name between 2008 and 2011.
De Vita scored 22 goals to help the club rise from the bottom tier back to the Championship following their disastrous descent into administration – and he has immediately targeted another title on his return to West Lothian.
The former Roma and Blackburn kid said: “I’m very happy to be back again. I feel at home here and I really want to achieve another promotion with the club.”
