Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson has lamented the lack of a cutting edge after the Jambos drew a blank for the second week running in a goal-less draw with Ross County.
The hosts created a series of first half opportunities but failed to take any through a combination of poor finishing and inspired goalkeeping from Scott Fox.
Hearts also rode their luck when Staggies defender Andrew Davis’ header came back off the underside of the bar but Neilson, following last weekend’s 1-0 loss at St Johnstone, is aggrieved they did not collect all the spoils.
He said: “Again it was disappointing. I thought first half especially we played really well and created a lot of chances.
“But similar to last week against St Johnstone, we didn’t have that final touch at the end.
“That’s the disappointment. The positive thing was the chances we made. We’re dominating large periods of games and giving up very, very few chances at the other end.
“It just bodes well that once it does click we’ll start picking up more points than we are at moment.”
