Scot’s hilarious spoof ad seeks “sesh partner”

ONE lonely Scottish reveller has gone to extreme lengths to find someone to party with – by placing a job advert for the role of ‘sesh partner’.

The anonymous employer is offering a part-time role on popular job site ‘Indeed’ for a new ‘seshing partner’.

The prospective employer state that they’re ‘in love’ with the sesh – short for drinking session – and need some new ‘seshers’ to enjoy it with in the Greater Glasgow area.

Applicants for the role will receive on-the-job training in the art of seshing but are required to have ‘top banter’ and at least one year’s experience of playing the computer game, ‘FIFA’.

The chosen ‘sesher’ will be paid £5.20 per hour to help their new employer drink and play computer games at their ‘gaff’.

The unusual job ad appeared yesterday

The job advert reads: “In need of a new seshing partner in the Greater Glasgow area.

“I have been in love with the sesh for a few months now and feel like I now need some new seshers to enjoy it with. Will need top banter and a driver’s license is a bonus.

“No experience is required as on the job training will be provided.”

Applicants must have ‘secondary education’ whilst a year’s experience in ‘banter’, ‘Fifa’ and ‘seshing’ is considered a bonus.

The advert has since been removed from the site but not before causing a stir on social media.

One user wrote: “Wage is a bit sh**e. Minimum wage is £8.20. I would get unionised asap.”

Another commented: “I’m guessing the sesh = session. Meaning a duration of time in which, typically, many substances would imbibed and much “banter” generated. Lads, lads, lads.”

Whilst one asked: “The sesh seems to have creeped into Scottish vocabulary. What happened to just having a bevy?”
