GARY Locke insists Raith Rovers are determined to prove their cup exit was nothing more than ‘a blip’.
The Stark’s Park men are undefeated in the league so far and sit second in the table behind leaders Hibs.
But they were left shocked by a 3-2 defeat away to League Two Forfar Athletic in the IRN-BRU Cup last weekend.
The Kirkcaldy outfit are nursing an extensive injury list that could see as many as nine players ruled out for the visit of Falkirk tomorrow.
But Locke has urged his side to show their mettle and bounce back instantly.
He said: “It was a bad day at the office and in a cup competition, if you don’t play well, you’re going to get put out, which is what happened.
“But we’re not going to dwell on it. The priority is the league and, as much as we’re annoyed at going out of the competition, our main focus this season has got to be the league.
“We’re disappointed, everybody connected with the club, the fans, the players, everybody, but you can’t dwell on these things.
“We’ve had a great start to the season. It’s one blip, we just have to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
“So, we’ll try to get back to winning ways on Saturday.”
