The Scottish FA have secured 7,600 tickets for the Tartan Army for November’s mouth-watering World Cup qualifier at Wembley against England.
But with an estimated 24,000 fans signed up as members of the official Scotland Supporters Club, fans still face a scramble to get their hands on a brief for the Group F showdown.
FIFA rules state that visiting nation’s must be handed at least 5 per cent of a stadium’s capacity but the SFA struck a deal with their English counterparts to obtain 8 per cent of the 90,000 capacity arena.
In return, the SFA will give England an estimated 4,200 when the Auld Enemy cross the border for the return clash next June.
Ticket prices for the November 11 Wembley clash range from £65 to £35.
The Scottish FA have also confirmed that they have been handed a 1,877 allocation for the October 11 clash with Slovakia at the 19,200 capacity Antona Malatinskeho stadium in Trnava.
