Amy Macdonald pops round to visit Jack and Victor

AMY MACDONALD has been pictured rubbing shoulders with the stars of Still Game as they film the new series.

The Scots singer shared a photo of her on-set alongside Jack, Victor and Winston on her Twitter page today.

The 28-year-old is known to be a big fan of the sitcom and is pictured in the smiling selfie alongside radio DJ, Ewan Cameron.

It’s thought that she was there to visit the cast and crew and to see all that the fictional town of ‘Craiglang’ had to offer.

Macdonald shared the picture of her alongside Still Game stars, Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill and Paul Riley with her 101,000 Twitter followers earlier this afternoon (Tues)

She captioned the tweet:  “Having a pretty awesome day with @EwenDCameron @BBCScotland Thank you for having us!! #stillgame #fangirl.”

Fans were delighted to see the Scottish star alongside the stars of the much-loved sitcom, with some even speculating that she might have been there to film a cameo role.

@beadsnthings commented: “That’s a brilliant pic. #hurdygurdygurdy.”

Whilst @garethjones349 speculated: “You got a walk on part yet?”

The Still Game cast are currently filming for the new-series which is due to hit television screens later this year.

The new, six-part series follows the success of 21-night sold-out live show 18 months ago at the SECC.

Jack and Victor first appeared on TV nearly a decade ago and soon captured an army of fans from across the nation before the last episode aired in 2007.
