New Dunfermline winger Paul McMullan admits he hopes he can get the Pars supporters off their seats after joining on a season-long loan from Celtic.
The 20-year-old completed the switch on Monday as PJ Crossan headed in the opposite direction on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Scotland Under-19 cap already has Championship experience under his belt after spending time on loan at St Mirren and Morton last season and McMullan hopes his direct style of play will excite the East End Park faithful.
“I consider myself a player that maybe likes to excite the fans, take players on, create chances and score goals.
“I’m delighted to be here. It all happened quick quickly.
“I know myself having played here on loan at Stenhousemuir how big a club it is and, looking around the facilities, it’s something I’m looking forward to being a part of.
“It’s a hard league, I played in it last year, it was tricky but it’s one I hope I can do well in.”
Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston revealed that McMullan had been a long-term target and the player admits he had no hesitation in moving to the Fife outfit.
McMullan, speaking to DAFC TV, added: “In January there was interest and it was something we got close to but then Morton came in so I wanted to test myself.
“When I heard of it again this year it was something I was excited to do myself.”
