Morton manager Jim Duffy has signed experienced goalkeeper Andy McNeil on a deal until the end of the season.
Duffy has moved to bolster his options in goal after regular number one Derek Gaston picked up a head knock in the recent Scottish Cup win at Annan.
Gaston missed Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Alloa, forcing Duffy to hand 19-year-old James McGowan his full debut, with 16-year-old Greig Connor as back-up.
Former Hibs keeper McNeil had been a free agent having departed the Wasps last month shortly after the arrival of shot-stopper Scott Gallacher at the Indodrill stadium.
