Hilarity as “swanky” crisps lose their “s”

A POSH crisp brand may be regretting their choice of name for one of their flavours.

Hand cooked crisp company, Tyrells, who charge up to £3 for a large packet, have created the fancy flavoured combo of crisps called “swanky veg”.

But the crisps – made up of sweet potato, golden beetroot, carrot and parsnip – have been renamed “w**** veg”.

Customers were left in creases after realising.

Customers have flooded social media with photographs of the packets with the vital letter “s” obscured.

A Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps star, Will Mellor, noticed the problem as he shared a photo and wrote: “They do some weird flavoured crisps these days.”

Ex-Hollyoaks star Will Mellor even noticed the name.

Dozens of Twitter users shared their shock after the surprising name caught their attention.

And some have even started trending the hashtag “w****veg”.

The packets come in a range of different colours.

Doris Malula ?wrote: “Could I please have biscuits and sweets in my basket not w**** veg, save that for Harvest Festival. Ta.”

Krysten Newby ?said: “Just opened this drawer. The crease, has me in creases. I’m dying. #w****veg”

And Michelle Childs wrote: “My husband works for them my house is constantly filled with w**** veg.”

Some humoured shoppers posted pics on Instagram.
