Midfielder Kenny Anderson admits he is disappointed that his time at Hearts did not work out after departing the club by mutual consent on Wednesday despite having six months to run on his contract.
The Dutchman made nine outings last season and collected a Championship winner’s medal after joining from RKC Waalwijk last February, but has not featured at all this term.
Speaking on Instagram, the 23-year-old said: “Back home in Holland. Sad that it never really worked out at Hearts but proud to have been part of this club.
“And some great memories with the guys, gonna miss them!”
