Hearts midfielder Kenny Anderson’s proposed switch to Livingston has been called off.
The 23-year-old trained with the Lions at the tail end of last week with a view to signing a one-month loan deal.
After being concerned by the player’s lack of match fitness, Burchill invited Anderson back for a further training stint this week.
But the move has now been called off completely and the playmaker will remain with the Tynecastle outfit for the time being.
After failing to make a single appearance for Robbie Neilson’s side so far this season, Anderson, who joined Hearts from Dutch club Waalwijk on an 18-month deal at the start of the year, has been told he is surplus to requirements.
The attacking midfielder picked up a Championship winner’s medal last term after making nine appearances, including five from the substitutes bench.
