Livingston manager Mark Burchill is hoping to get the chance to have another look at Kenny Anderson next week as he weighs up a loan move for the out-of-favour Hearts midfielder.
Anderson has trained with the Championship outfit for the last two days after being told he is surplus to requirements at Tynecastle.
But with the 23-year-old lacking fitness having failed to make a single appearance for Robbie Neilson’s side this season, Burchill has invited the playmaker back for an extended training stint next week.
Speaking to Capital City Press, Burchill said: “I’m hoping to have another look at Kenny in training next week as he’s needs to build up his fitness.”
Anderson, who was born in Holland but has a Scottish dad, joined Hearts from Dutch club Waalwijk on an 18-month deal at the start of the year, but has struggled to make an impact in Gorgie.
The attacking midfielder picked up a Championship winner’s medal last season after making nine appearances, including five from the substitutes bench.
