Hemphill’s dog ate his pants

SCOTS comedian Greg Hemphill has shared a hilarious snap of his dog after it ate his underpants – then threw them back up.

The 45-year-old, best known for his appearances in Still Game and Chewin’ the Fat, took to Twitter to share the unfortunate incident with his fans.

He uploaded a picture of his 5-month-old labrador looking particularly guilty as it gazes up at the camera with big, brown eyes.

The photo was captioned: “The dog just ate half a pair of underpants then sicked them up. Must have edited that out of the Andrex commercials.”

His fans dubbed the animal “knicker sicker” and went on to share their own dog mishap stories.

Iain Davidson joked “Boaks-er shorts?”

The puppy has been snapped chewing on clothes before

Wilma Lobban said: “We had a dog who, when bored, would steal pants off the clothes horse and run round the house with them.”

Josie Mur added: “We had a dog who did that, although the remnants came out the other end. She was choosy and only ever ate the good ones.”

William Rae wrote: “Our retriever had a real love of teenage boys smelly sports socks – sometimes they managed the whole journey.”

Hemphill has shared entertaining pictures of his puppy in the past, including a snap where it stares into the lens and crawls over the back of the sofa.

She even plays with his shoelaces in a video

One video shows the young mutt untying and wrestling with Hemphill’s shoelaces.

He has even dubbed the animal “The White Dog of Death” – despite it being only several months old.

One of the most notoriously hungry dogs is a Great Dane from Portland, Oregon, who devoured 43 socks in one sitting.

The three-year-old, who enjoyed chewing on socks but was not known to swallow them whole, was rushed to hospital when it could not stop retching.

It took two hours of surgery to remove all the socks from the 64-kg animal.
