BLACKWOOD, a Scottish housing and care provider, has announced the appointment of a new Housing and Care Director.
Angela Currie, from East Lothian, has more than 20 years of experience in social housing across Scotland and will manage Blackwood’s 1,500 plus property portfolio.
She will also drive forward plans to introduce greater innovation in housing and care.
Angela has worked in various roles across the social housing sector and she joins Blackwood after spending 12 years leading the Scottish Housing Best Value Network.
She said: “After accumulating over 20 years of social housing experience, I feel I have a sound knowledge of how to develop Blackwood’s exciting aims for the future.
“It’s definitely an exciting time to be a part of Blackwood, as it gears up to revolutionise the housing and care sector with its impressive reputation of service quality and new technological innovations.”
