Reintam boasts 11 caps for the Estonian national team and, although his last appearance came against Leichtenstein in November 2013, his is on the fringes of Magnus Pehrsson’s setup.

Should the powerful centre-half win an international recall, he would follow in the footsteps of the legendary Jock Hepburn, who played for Scotland in 1891 while on the books of Alloa.

Reintam has been a regular for Danny Lennon’s men during pre-season, impressing as a trialist in encounters against against Edinburgh City, Airdrieonians, Albion Rovers, Huntly and Stirling Albion.

And he could make his competitive debut for Alloa against Berwick Rangers in the League Cup first round tomorrow afternoon.
