The brand new food festival, which is in its first year, is supported by EventScotland, VisitScotland and Scotland Food & Drink as part of the Year of Food and Drink Scotland 2015.

Sharon Burgess, Managing Director of Assembly Festival Ltd said: “We are so excited to be working with some of Scotland’s finest producers and most celebrated businesses.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our offering and this is a great way to spotlight how the industry is evolving. To support this, industry professionals are hosting talks and debates and a special programme of entertainment is on offer. What better place to host a food festival than Edinburgh!”

The food talks and debates are free but booking is required.
