THE LADY BOYS OF BANGKOK are returning to Edinburgh Fringe – but at a new site.
The Beauties and the Beats cabaret show, starring the “girls like no other girls” will be staged at the SABAI PAVILION in the Theatre Big Tops (fringe venue 189), in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.
A breathless press release has been issued, telling fans of fans that “Sixteen of Thailand’s most alluring and arresting Lady Boys” will perform at the venue from Friday, August 7th until Monday August 31st.
The Ladyboys are now firmly back in action, after their kilts were stolen before their opening night in Dundee last month.
Creative Director Phillip Gandey said: “The Fringe Festival was the birthplace of The Lady Boys and returning to the festival each year is always the highlight of our tour.
Director Carol Gandey added “The spirit of cabaret is well and truly alive in the Lady Boys Sabai Pavilion and this year’s show makes no exception.
“We’ve been planning and rehearsing since last year to make a completely unique show, as we do every year, which we’re sure our audiences in Edinburgh will love.”
