Livingston have completed the double-signing of Morgyn Neill and Moses Duckrell – and are eyeing former Portugal youth internationalist Hugo Faria.

Mark Burchill has snapped up the young duo following successful trial periods, culminating in both players impressing against Real Sociedad in Monday evening’s 1-0 defeat at Almondvale.

Neill, 19, emerged from the Motherwell academy but failed to make a first-team appearance for the Steelmen. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ayr United, impressing in his seven outings for Ian McCall’s men.

Duckrell, 18, arrives at Livi after emerging through the youth ranks at English League Two outfit Barnet. Both players have been handed two-year deals.

Meanwhile, the Lions are running the rule over experienced midfielder Hugo Faria.

The 32-year-old played alongside Livi player/boss Burchill in Cypriot football with Enonis Neon and came on as a second-half substitute against Sociedad, displaying some neat touches.

Faria, who has also plied his trade in Romania, Greece and Malta during a varied career, came through the Porto youth system and boasts 14 caps for Portugal at under-20 level.
