The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has worked with games company Rovio to develop a game update called Solar System. It will include “fun facts” and help players learn more about space.

There are 15 new levels, with each representing a planet, comet or satellite in our Solar System.

David S. Weaver, associate administrator for communications at NASA Headquarters in Washington, said: “We’re excited to collaborate with Rovio on this largest update ever to Angry Birds Space.

“Everyone who plays will find surprises that take you to more information about our missions of discovery and exploration in our solar system and beyond.

He added: “It comes as NASA is about to complete the first-ever assessment of our solar system with the arrival of New Horizons at Pluto July 14.”
