Keaghan Jacobs is hoping to clinch a move to South Africa after going on trial at Bidvest Wits.
The 25-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Championship outfit Livingston expired and the Johannesburg-born midfielder is keen to ply his trade in the country of his birth.
Jacobs, whose brother Kyle is also set to quit the Lions having gone on trial at Queen of the South, has been with the West Lothian outfit his entire career and made his debut in November 2007.
Wits chief executive Jose Ferreira said: “Keaghan is here with some other new faces training with us.”
