Thousands of happy joggers took part in Glasgow’s Colour Me Rad charity event this weekend – where they were covered in bright powder as they made their way along the 5km course.
The event, based on the Hindu festival of colours – known as Holi – took place at Glasgow Green and was described by organisers as an “un-timed, non competitive fun run with lots of colour”.
Runners wore white tshirts and were bombarded with green, blue, pink, purple and yellow “colour bombs”.
The races have become popular in recent years and are held across the UK, with one taking place in Edinburgh last month.
