Prince Charles enjoyed a dram while paying a visit to a distillery on the isle of Islay.
His Royal Highness, Duke of Rothesay, was at the Ardbeg Distillery today (Friday) as it celebrates its 200th Anniversary year.
As well as enjoying a nip of the famous spirit outside the Prince was also presented with a bottle of Ardbeg Kildalton.
The special whisky was launched to support His Royal Highness’s Initiative in its objective of promoting and strengthening the people, places and products of the rural areas of Scotland, such as Islay.
Marc Hoellinger, President and Chief Executive of The Glenmorangie Company, accompanied The Prince on the visit.
He said: “The visit of His Royal Highness to Ardbeg gives great encouragement to the staff of the Distillery, their families and the wider Islay community.”
