A COUPLE have posted a picture of a strawberry looking clucking weird.
Reuben and April Welch have hundreds of strawberry plants at Grove Farm, Bonnyrigg, Midlothian – one of which produced a fruit that looks remarkably like a chicken.
When turned upside down, the bizarre berry has a head, tail and it even appears to be sitting on a nest made of leaves. The joking pair took the liberty of adding a beak to complete the effect.
It was captioned: “Going to have to eat this chicken as it hasn’t laid a single bloody egg yet.”
Muriel Brady replied: “Awe love it!! we have chickens but no strawberry ones”
Whilst Catherine Procter advised: “Just behead it, quick and painless.”
