New Cowdenbeath manager Colin Nish has completed a signing that has been two years in the making after snapping up Livingston youngster Jack Beaumont.
Nish spotted the midfielder when training with the Lions during pre-season in 2013 and is thrilled to have convinced the 20-year-old to join the Blue Brazil.
The Fifers, who were relegated to League One last month, have also re-signed midfielders Chris Kane, Pat Scullion and Kyle Miller.
Nish said: “I’m delighted to get Jack signed up. I went in to Livingston and did pre-season with them a couple of years ago and saw him then, and I saw what a good prospect he is.
“I knew he had good players ahead of him in terms of getting into the Livingston midfield, guys like Burton O’Brien and the Jacobs brothers, and that has meant he hasn’t had as many chances as he would have liked.”
