Darren Dods has made his first signing as Brechin City player/boss after naming Lee Bailey as his assistant manager.
The 42-year-old enjoyed a successful stint at Glebe park as a player, making 48 appearances for the club between 1999 and 2001. He also had spells with Hibernian, Livingston, Queen of the South and Stirling Albion.
Following his retirement, Bailey has carved out a reputation as a promising coach, initially serving as a youth development officer in Fife for the Scottish Football Association.
He will combine his new role at Brechin with his current position as a coach at the Fife Football Performance Academy.
