Striker Franck Dja Djedje has departed Hibs after signing a contract with Qatari outfit Al-Shahaniya.
The former Paris Saint Germain forward moved to Easter Road during the January transfer window and scored three goals in 15 appearances for Alan Stubbs’ side.
The 29-year-old’s exit from the Leith outfit will come as no surprise to the club’s fans after Stubbs last week bolstered his attacking options with the capture of James Keatings and Danny Carmichael from Hearts and Queen of the South respectively.
Speaking on his Instagram account in a picture posing with an Al-Shahaniya jersey, the Frenchman said: “New club, new life, new challenge. Thanks god.”
