SCOTTISH Country and Western fans will be pulling on stetsons and cowboy hats and heading to Perth racecourse next weekend for an Americana-themed music festival.
The Americana Cavalcade will be held at the racecourse on Saturday 6th June, from 2pm to 10pm. Two stages will host a range of acts from as far off as Tennessee in the USA.
Bucking broncos and hog roasts will also feature at the event, which is being held to co-incide with The City of Perth Gold Cup race meeting the day after.
Ticket costs £15, and under-18s go free. Those with an American Cavalcade wristband will also get into the Gold Cup Day Meeting for a reduced price of £15.
Tracey Quin, sales manager at Perth Racecourse said: “ There are prizes going to best dressed cowboy, cowgirl and cow-kid.
“ We know that Perth Racecourse customers never let us down on a fancy dress so I can’t wait to see our crowd.”
