Work to improve the road surface on the A876 Junction 3 Bowtrees (southbound) off-slip will begin next week.
The £190,000 scheme requires the full closure of the off-slip road while work is taking place with a clearly signed diversion in place.
Disruption will occur at times between at 8pm on Wednesday 20th May and 6am on Friday 22nd May.
The road will open as normal on Thursday 21st May between 6am and 8pm.
Traffic from the A876 will be diverted off at the minor slip road prior to Junction 3, which runs parallel with the works.
Traffic will then follow this slip road until it reaches the roundabout where the diversion and works end and it can re-join the M876.
Lane 1 of the main M876/A876 trunk road will also be closed to ensure the safety of road workers and the travelling public.
