Scotland’s first ice bar opens in Glasgow

Glasgow has joined the likes of New York, Tokyo, Stockholm and Moscow with the launch of Baltic Ice Scotland’s first ice bar.

Constructed entirely of solid and sculpted ice, the Baltic Ice Bar at Snow Factor Braehead can hold up to 20 people.

Jackets are provided by the bar so patrons can keep warm

 

Jackets are provided and patrons will be able to book 45 minute slots to experience having pint in minus 5C in a glass made of ice.

Scott McLauchlan, from Snow Factor International, said: commented: “Snow Factor Braehead is very proud to open Baltic Ice Bar Glasgow – Scotland’s first ice-bar.

 

The bar can hold up to 20 people

 

He added: “It promises to be fun!”

The bar will be open seven days a week with entry prices starting from £13.
