Rory Bremner has given fans a sneak peak of his latest impersonation – Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood.
The 53-year-old Scots comedian and impressionist Tweeted photo of himself as the expert bread maker, who is world-renowned for his baking innuendos.
He is dressed in a pink striped short unbuttoned at the top and completed with silver hair and goatee.
Standing in the Bake Off tent and holding what looked like a piece of cake Bremner Tweeted: “And introducing…”
Fan Christina Lynch was quick off the mark replying with one of Paul Hollywood’s legendary phrases “Soggy bottoms!”
The Edinburgh comedian revealed the new characters ahead a Coalition Special filmed with the Bremner, Bird & Fortune team and due to be aired on the BBC in February.
He also Tweeting an image of himself dressed as Prime Minister David Cameron Tweeting: “Into Cameron mode for first time in a few years…”
And as Boris Johnson with clown make-up and red noise, alongside the words: “It’s busy at work today.”
Bremner rose to fame in the late 80s with his own TV show Now, Something Else and contributing to Spitting Image.
In the early 90s, he made the Bafta-winning series Rory Bremner – Who Else? before going on to host Bremner, Bird and And Fortune.
In December 2013 John Fortune died aged 74. This will be the first time the series team has reunited for a TV special since.
