SCOTS DJ Calvin Harris has joined other celebrities in the latest internet craze – the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Harris posted a video on twitter of him pouring a bucket of ice cubes over his head for charity.
The topless hunk can be seen standing barefoot in a backyard, bracing himself before taking the plunge.
Wearing just a pair of dark navy shorts, the famous Scot takes a deep breath and looks straight into the camera before picking up the bucket.
Participants have a pail of freezing cold water with poured over them, then they nominate three others to do it.
Harris, who doesn’t make a sound during the 30 second clip nominated fellow musician John Newman, model Eva Shaw and music video director Emil Nava.
Other Celebrities who have risen to the challenge include Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake and chat show queen Oprah.
Harris’ was nominated alongside superstar DJ Tiesto and American singer Tinashe.
Fans of the We Found Love producer favourited the tweet, posted on Monday evening over 1,000 times.
Harris fan Nelly said: “That’s defo UK weather.”
Another fan Odalissa said: “Took it like a champ.”
Whereas Arabella said: “Only Calvin Harris did it the right way, with only ice, everyone else is a loser sorry to break it to you.”
