WOMEN were ordered to leave a club’s toilets after they were commandeered for the exclusive use of rapper Drake.
Staff at Cirque, Glasgow, banged on locked cubicle doors and told clubbers they had to leave immediately.
Startled women – who had to ask permission to wash their hands – were told by a frantic member of staff: “These bathrooms are needed for Drake.”
Despite paying £10 to get in to the Queen Street club, female customers were told to use the gents’ loos.
The Started from the Bottom singer, who is dating Rihanna, performed at the SSE Hydro on Saturday night to a sold-out crowd of 13,000.
The Canadian star and his entourage partied after the show at Cirque, which is a 10-minute drive away.
Drake and a friend were snapped sitting at a table loaded with top champagne, cognac, and tequila worth £4,000.
But women who went to Cirque on Saturday branded their treatment as “totally disgusting”.
One 23-year-old, who asked not to be named, said: “Me and my friends were in cubicles when someone came knocking on the door telling us we had to get out.
“A man actually came in to the bathroom shouting, telling us we had to get out because Drake needed the female toilets.
“Then a little woman who had been in the bathroom started going up and down banging on all the doors telling us to get out.
“I don’t care who Drake is, or his toilet requirements, but it’s a basic right to be able to use the women’s toilets.
“We were told that we could use the men’s, but why would I want to do that? That’s disgusting.
“They were rushing us out, I even had to ask the woman for time to wash my hands.”
She added: “To turn around and tell people who go there all the time that they can’t use a toilet because a celebrity who will probably never go there again, is not right.”
Another clubber, Stacey Herriot, tweeted both Drake and Cirque saying: “Think it’s ok to shut down the female toilets and let us use the male toilets? Disgusting!”
Stacey also tweeted a picture of the urinals, adding: “My toilet last night thanks to Drake – disgusting.”
Cirque staff themselves were banned from taking pictures of Drake but got round the ban using their CCTV.
The images show the star and a friend sitting at a table loaded with more than 30 bottles of alcohol.
Mark Loney, area manager for Cirque Nightclub, confirmed that the club’s Skull Room had been closed off for Drake and his entourage, and that his team had demanded that he should be given exclusive access to nearby toilets.
Mr Loney said: “Drake’s management requested that he be given access to the closest bathrooms to the room he was in and that happened to be the female ones.
“It was not until around 10pm that we were told this. It was a request or demand from his entourage. I think it’s because of the high security, he was surrounded by them and they followed him around the club.
“There were other toilets made available on the ground floor and there are toilets as you enter the club.”
Mr Loney said that the star had come to the club with a “massive rider” of demands.
He said the demands included nearly £4000-worth of alcohol. All hostesses were hand-picked by Drake’s team before they could serve him.
Mr Loney said: “It was a strange night. They wouldn’t allow just any staff into the room, and they were checked for mobile phones.
“I think Drake came to the club at about 12, although I’m not sure when he left. He certainly drank a lot of booze.”
